Terms & Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") apply to all sales concluded via the winelinerack.com website between :
- Wine Line, published by MAATA, SARL, whose registered office is located at 113, Route d'Arlon L-8009 Strassen, registered with the RCS B21299, hereinafter referred to as "the Seller".
- And any individual or legal entity making a purchase via the site, hereinafter referred to as "the Customer".
1. Purpose
The purpose of these GTC is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the online sale of products offered by Wine Line.
2. Products
The products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. The photographs and visuals have no contractual value and do not engage the responsibility of the Seller.
3. Awards
Prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and exclude delivery charges. Wine Line reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time the order is registered.
4. Control
The customer places an order on the site by following the online purchasing process. Any order placed implies full acceptance of these GTS.
5. Payment
Orders are paid for online by credit card via Stripe or Alma. Payment is secure and bank details are not stored by Wine Line.
5.1 Fractional payments via Alma
- Alma's credit service is offered for the settlement of purchases and the execution of payment, provided that the person purchasing the good or service through Alma ("Buyer") accepts the contract for payment in installments or deferred payment.
- Fees may be charged by Alma.
- Any refusal by Alma to grant payment in instalments or deferred payment may result in the nullity of the contract for the purchase of the goods or services ("GCS"), unless the Buyer agrees to pay the amount of the purchase in cash.
- In the event of termination of the GTC, the contract for payment in instalments or deferred payment will be terminated ipso jure.
- In the event of retraction of the payment in instalments or deferred payment solution used for your payment, the GCS will be terminated by operation of law, unless you pay the amount of your purchase in cash through Alma. If the product has already been shipped to you, you must return it within the maximum period stipulated in these GTC.

6. Delivery
Delivery conditions are detailed in our delivery policy. Delivery is insured in mainland France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal, via GLS or DPD. Delivery is free for orders over €350 incl. VAT.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with current legislation, the customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise his right of withdrawal, without having to justify his decision or pay any penalties.
To exercise this right, the Customer must contact Wine Line at the following e-mail address: contact@winelinerack.com. Products must be returned in their original condition, complete and undamaged. Return costs are at the Customer's expense, except in the case of errors or defects in the product attributable to the Seller.
8. Returns and refunds
After receipt and inspection of the returned items, Wine Line will proceed with reimbursement within a maximum of 14 days via the payment method used when the order was placed.
9. Legal warranties
Wine Line applies the legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects in accordance with current legislation.
For consumers residing in Luxembourg, these guarantees are provided by articles L.212-1 et seq. of the Luxembourg Consumer Code and articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.
For consumers residing in France, they are covered by articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
These warranties entitle the consumer to repair, replacement or reimbursement of the product if it does not conform or if it is affected by a latent defect, in accordance with the legal conditions applicable in the consumer's country of residence.
10. Liability
Wine Line shall not be held liable for any consequential damages arising from the purchase of products. The Vendor's liability is limited to the amount of the order placed by the Customer.
11. Intellectual property
All elements of the site, whether visual or audio, are protected by copyright, trademarks or patents. They are the exclusive property of Wine Line.
12. Personal data
Personal data collected during the ordering process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Customers have the right to access, rectify and delete their data by contacting us at contact@winelinerack.com.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by Luxembourg law.
In the event of a dispute, the buyer is invited to contact customer service in order to seek an amicable solution.
In accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012, consumers residing in the European Union may bring their case either before the courts of their country of residence or before the courts of Luxembourg.
Consumers are also informed of the possibility of using the European platform for online dispute resolution (RLL): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
